Krishna Godavari Basin Blocks

 

We are currently a participant in two exploration blocks within the Krishna Godavari Basin.

KG-OSN-2001/3, entered into in February 2003, grants exploration rights in an area offshore eastern India in the Krishna Godavari Basin in the State of Andhra Pradesh. We refer to this exploration block as the "KG Offshore Block" and we have a net 5% carried interest under this agreement.

KG-ONN-2004/1, entered into in March 2007, grants exploration rights in an area onshore eastern India in the Krishna Godavari Basin in the State of Andhra Pradesh adjacent to our KG Offshore Block. We refer to this exploration block as the “KG Onshore Block” and we currently hold a 10% participating interest under this agreement with an option to increase our participating interest to 25%.
